WHY SCOUT?
Scout Marketing has over 45 years of combined experience in the advertising industry, whether its radio, TV, internet, or commercial events. We will always exceed your expectations.
We are often asked why we named our company “Scout Marketing” in 1995. the answer is quite simple, but truly interesting!
The founding Striker family has had many creative relatives including Francis Hamilton Striker who was the creator and author of The Lone Ranger.
Francis Hamilton Striker was the creator and author of “The Lone Ranger” radio show (first broadcast on WXYZ-AM in Detroit on January 30th, 1933)
As any good “Ranger” fan knows, The Lone Ranger had a “Faithful Indian Companion” named Tonto, and Tonto rode an “Indian Paint” horse by the name of “Scout”
“Scout” was also the name of our first Yellow Labrador puppy, now sadly long gone, but fond memories remain!
“Scout Marketing” will always stand for:
“The Search for Creative Solutions”
